Catchlight Fellowship
Closes January 31

“Proposals must represent the highest quality of art, be socially focused, and present innovative distribution ideas. We welcome a wide variety of topics, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, religion, nationality, health, democracy, climate, and immigration. As always, we invite and encourage a broad diversity in applicants, ideas, and creative mediums.”


The Contemporary African Photography prize

2018 Aperture Portfolio Prize

“The purpose of the Aperture Portfolio Prize is to identify trends in contemporary photography and highlight artists whose work deserves greater recognition. When choosing the first-prize winner and runners-up, Aperture’s editorial and curatorial staff look for innovative bodies of work that haven’t been widely seen in major publications or exhibition venues.”


AFF 2018 Open call

“A primary objective since the inception of the festival has been to promote cultural exchange through images; bringing the world to Africa and taking Africa to the world. In keeping with this, for the fifth edition of AFF we are seeking submissions that offer insight and a unique perspective from photographers around the world. We look forward to your submissions to be able to share with our audience the spectrum of photography as a tool that educates, inspires, and promotes creativity.”


The Nikon-Noor Academy
